Three survival adventures with three different experts in three different countries.
To promote the new MINI Countryman for outdoor activities, MINI Adventures was created. In this series, we sent our host (and cityboy) Ruben into the wild. In each episode, a different expert taught him how to master an outdoor skill. We documented Ruben learning how to kayak in Austria, how to stay alive in the depths of a Swedish forest and how to build the best outside barbeque in France.
As DOP, I filmed the first two videos and directed the other filmmakers. I also overlooked the post-production. I worked as director for the last video.
Oh, and in case you wondered: nope, we didn't fly. The whole crew went on the same roadtrip as the host and expert, driving two MINIs across Europe. An unforgettable experience.
